Stroud Brick Throwing and Rolling Pin CompetitionSunday 6th October 2024: Stroud Showground, Cowper St, Stroud NSW 2425
Bricks are tossed, rolling pins hurled and rubber chickens chucked at the annual Stroud Brick and Rolling Pin Throwing competition. Providing the ultimate family day out, the Stroud Showground will be bursting with the market and local food stalls, activities, and entertainment for the entire family – just be careful to duck out of the way of the propelling pins, pullets, and blocks! Our littlest visitors can enjoy face painting and a variety of fun games and ever-popular tug-o-war returns each year along with the fast and furious post splitting and wood chop and a display of the vintage vehicle.

Tug-of-War
Join in on a sport that pits two teams against each other in a test of strength: teams pull on opposite ends of a rope, with the goal being to bring the rope a certain distance in one direction against the force of the opposing team’s pull.
